Position: HR Assistant
Location: Scottish Borders
Salary: £26,000-£30,000
Pattern: Monday-Friday, hybrid working 1 day from home
Pertemps are recruiting an HR Assistant to join their Scottish Borders based client, a well-established organisation with a dedicated HR team. An HR Team that supports the growth and development of its employees.
The Role:
1. Employee Relations:
1. Take minutes and give basic ER advice
2. Assist with investigations
3. Support Managers in the absence of the HR Advisor
2. Administration Support:
1. Assist with day-to-day HR administration
2. Assist with contracts and offer letters
3. Maintain HR Records and database
3. Miscellaneous:
1. Recording sickness/absence
2. Support with starters and leavers
3. Analysis of HR processes
4. Assist with internal audits
5. Weekly and monthly HR reporting
6. Other HR duties as required
About You:
1. Previous HR experience is essential with a good knowledge of employment legislation
2. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written skills
3. IT knowledge (SAP, Microsoft Office etc) and an understanding of HR systems
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Organisation and multitasking skills
6. A focus on quality being commercially and customer aware
7. Respect for and able to manage confidential/sensitive information
8. HR Qualification desirable but not essential
