Job Role: Site Agent - Highways
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £55,000-£60,000
Are you a skilled Site Agent with a strong background in highways and infrastructure?
We have an excellent opportunity in Middlesbrough with a leading civil engineering contractor, offering a competitive salary of £55,000-£60,000.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervising and managing site activities, ensuring that Section 278 (S278) works and other highways projects are delivered on time and within budget.
·Overseeing daily operations, including coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
·Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met and maintained throughout the project.
·Liaising with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
·Monitoring progress and managing site reports to ensure the project stays aligned with quality expectations.
Requirements:
·Proven experience working on highways and S278 works.
·SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
·Strong site management and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
·TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) certification would be advantageous but not essential.
