The Art File is an award-winning independent publisher, specialising in the design, production, distribution and selling of contemporary greeting cards, gift wrapping, stationery and gifts. We are a leading brand producing premium products sold to independents, major retailers, direct to consumer and export worldwide. We are a SME creative business that is continually growing.
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to manage bespoke print paper projects from end-to-end, from concept to delivery of finished products, for client and our own brand projects. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure our clients and in-house teams are kept clearly informed, along with a strong knowledge of print processes.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Oversee print production projects from inception to completion
2. Plan and manage project critical path to ensure timelines are met
3. Build comprehensive project and product specifications aligned to client brand guidelines
4. Coordinate and liaise between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements clearly, right through to the warehouse and shipping teams that our products deliver to
5. Provide status updates to stakeholders regularly
6. Monitor print quality and ensure that final products meet high specifications
7. Address any issues that arise during the production sampling process promptly
8. Keep projects within their agreed budget
9. Manage and maintain relationships with print vendors and suppliers
10. Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
11. Proactively contribute towards the overall sustainability objectives of the business
12. Ad hoc requirements typically needed in an evolving SME business
Skills Required:
1. Proven experience of project coordination within the printing industry, minimum of 3 years.
2. Possess a strong understanding of printing processes and methods
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience of Adobe Creative Cloud software
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Strong organisational and time management skills
6. Ability to prioritise workload calmly in a busy working environment
7. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
8. A team player who can also work effectively on their own
9. A flexible outlook and ‘can do’ attitude
The Package:
1. Competitive Salary (with guaranteed yearly increase matched with inflation, capped at 7.5%)
2. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service, up to 28 days
3. On site, with 4pm finish every Friday
