About the Role
The Referrals Hub Manager will drive and motivate their teams performance. Your team will receive referrals from Local Authorities and they will work quickly to liaise with our fantastic group of Foster Carers to find the best possible match for the young person or child in order to achieve their best and be supported in a loving home.
In addition, the Referrals Hub Manager will be responsible for building and designing individual packages of support to enable our carers to manage the more complex referrals. You will build positive working relationships with our Social Workers, Carers and Local Authorities staff.
It is important that our Referrals Hub Manager is a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a great attention to detail and able to use word, excel and databases competently. You will analyse information from a variety of sources and produce detailed reports to support your plans and strategy for a successful Referrals Hub.
This role will manage a team of Referral Co-ordinators and be responsible for their supervision and development. Other responsibilities are listed below:
Responsibilities
Work closely with referral team colleagues across the Group to achieve targets and promote the work of the team both internally and externally ensuring the consistent delivery of the referral journey.
Report to Senior Management regarding data analysis and success of point of referral to point of placement. You will identify areas of need, themes and trends and ensure our carer base is diverse and multi skilled to meet all needs.
Responsible for the review and dissemination of contractual obligations across the region/area and ensure the teams actions are contractually compliant.
Assist in the collection of data for compliance reporting.
Undertake training, project work and such other duties as may be reasonably requested.
Work in accordance with all the policies and procedures of the National Fostering Group, always observing the strict rules of confidentiality appropriate to the role.

Essential Criteria
The candidate will have at least 3 years management experience, ideally within the social care or fostering sector.
Experience implementing and achieving regional business plans and targets.
Working knowledge of Fostering Services and Fostering regulations
Insight into contractual relationships between the private and public services
You will have the ability to travel accordingly across various locations in the area to cover the needs of the role
A social work qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
