Company:
My client is a Distributor of 10 European food processing machinery brands solely to the UK. Based in the north of the UK, my client now operates worldwide, supplying machines to fish, meat & poultry factories on primary, secondary, and further processing. Machines include filleting, dicing, slicing, grinders, formers, and packaging machines.
The Role:
1. Installation, breakdown, and repair of food processing machines & cutting tools
2. Working on slicers, skinners, deboners, and portioning machines
3. Able to read electrical drawings
4. Able to wire & rewire
5. Changing of bearings, belts & chains
6. Experience of working on shafts
7. Working on mechanical issues surrounding pulleys
8. Ability to run Ethernet cables
9. Run diagnostics through HMIs – inputs/outputs
10. Good understanding of pneumatics & hydraulics
11. Ability to cover the UK, visiting sites such as fisheries, meat processing, and chicken houses
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Experience with FMCG/Food/Production machines
2. No formal qualification needed
3. Ability to travel and understand the life of a service technician
