Head of Marketing Operations
£95,000 to £105,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 4)

We're looking for a Head of Marketing Operations to join us here at Co-op. You'll lead our Marketing Operations team who are key to making sure our Marketing Team runs smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, and are able to deliver our Marketing Strategy on time and in budget.
As part of our Marketing Leadership Team, we'll look to you to keep track of resources, make sure our processes and ways of working are optimised and that we consistently deliver on our priorities. Your organisational skills will be the key to this role, working with both internal teams and external agencies to support a fast-paced, volume-heavy team workload, making sure the team are delivering key priorities and operating successfully.
What you'll do
* Be responsible for the marketing operating framework to allow all teams to complete the marketing strategy and deliver key outcomes
* Make sure all parts of the Marketing Team run smoothly, teams collaborate and encourage a process driven environment
* Establish and create alignment across the function and key agency partners, with regular review and evolution of the operating framework
* Create and report all Marketing Updates to the wider business, so that key partners are engaged in the outputs of the Marketing team
* Plan and prioritise the marketing team's workload and resource capacity
* Own the marketing supplier strategy with Procurement, to shape creative, design and the production of the agency roster, optimising agency contracts and retainers
* Lead the shaping of new ways of working, processes with agencies and the way we use a new platform to deliver work
* Own the centralised marketing budget view for the team, being the go-to person working with Finance, making sure all finance processes are adhered to
* Be the business owner of Marketing technology selection, integration, optimisation, governance and adoption
This role would suit people who have
* Experience of working within a complex matrix organisation with multi-faceted teams and the ability to work cross functionally
* The ability to create and shape operational planning and implementation
* Excellent organisational skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and groups of people whilst building a strong network
* Excellent relationship builder, with a firm but fair approach
* A strong understanding of how Marketing works, from strategy through to execution, as well as how agencies work, specifically production techniques and planning
