Tenancy Management Assistant (Three vacancies) Grade 4, £25,584 up to £28,624 per annum pro rata 37 hours per week, permanent contract We are currently seeking three dedicated and customer focussed Tenancy Management Assistant’s to join our dynamic Housing department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Anti-Social Behaviour and Tenancy Management team, delivering excellent front line tenancy management services to our tenants. The successful candidate will: Support Tenancy Management Officers in ensuring the efficient and effective management of council tenancies such as new tenancy visits, signups, and changes to tenancy agreements Provide a high-quality customer service and support to tenants, addressing tenant enquiries and resolving issues Maintain tenancy records and accurate case notes Have previous experience of working with vulnerable people and difficult or confrontational customers Have experience of visiting tenants in their own homes and identifying risks Be experienced in dealing with sensitive issues, both on the phone and in person Good communication and organisation skills Work using their initiative Have good team working skills Be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint Have a driving licence and own transport for making tenant visits The role will be office based during the initial training period and then Hybrid working will be available depending on tenancy casework. The contractual base will be office based with agreed flexibility to work from home or at remote working locations in the borough.
