In this Programme Manager role, you will support change activities within the HR Talent function, helping to manage and align changes driven by the wider implementation of Workday and the new HR Target Operating Model. You will own, coordinate, and manage programme management deliverables in HR, Skills and Development, and Talent, applying processes, methods, knowledge, skills, and experience to manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and ensure programme outcomes are delivered in line with expectations.
You will have line management duties. Your role will involve providing oversight and guidance to your team, ensuring that all programme management activities are executed effectively and efficiently.
To be successful as a Senior Programme Portfolio Lead, you should have experience with:
* Advanced understanding of programme/project management best practices/methodologies/project lifecycle/Agile delivery.
* Ability to execute effectively utilizing strong influencing skills and ability to get things done in a complex matrix organizational structure.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Able to work with and present to senior stakeholders. Must be able to deliver clear written status updates.
* Excellent people management skills with a strong delivery focus and ability to “roll up sleeves” and own resolution of “sticky problems.”

Purpose of the role:
To manage change projects that help the organization achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities:
* Management of change projects within the organization, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
* Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
* Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
* Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
* Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
* Management of project risks, ensuring that risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
* Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organization.
