Responsibilities:
1. To be responsible for providing the appropriate nursing evidence-based care for an allocated group of patients.
2. Be an accountable professional who is responsible for their actions, working in line with NMC standards of proficiency.
3. Recognise and work within the limits of their competency.
4. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team using resources efficiently.
5. To deliver quality care to patients and to work effectively within the nursing team.
6. To be competent in carrying out a variety of clinical procedures.
