What the Job Involves The Emergency Duty Team (EDT) Social Worker/AMHP serves as a crucial out-of-hours contact for North Yorkshire County Council and the City of York Council. Your principal responsibility is responding to out-of-hours requests to safeguard vulnerable children or adults. This requires working on a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. You'll assess and prioritize cases, provide professional guidance, liaise with multi-agency teams, maintain records, prepare reports, and possibly give court evidence.
