Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking to work within an award winning legal accounts team? You will help you colleagues run an efficient and effective financial back-office solution. The ideal candidate will help to support and assist in achieving the clients vision of providing a great service at all times I am looking to recruit a passionate, detailed, and enthusiastic new member to the finance team who will assist the Head of Accounts and be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of all financial processes. You will be trained in the area of Legal cashiering. I am looking to speak to individuals who will get involved in continuously improving systems and will play a key role in growing the business, the team and of course you Key Responsibilities: - General day to day duties will include the following: Dealing with incoming & outgoing payments (BACS/Faster Payments/TT’s) Process supplier invoices through purchase ledger Daily banking Bank reconciliation Dealing with office disbursements HMLR/HMCTS Statements etc Billing Answering fee earner queries Taking card payments Assisting with month end procedures Assisting with payroll Experience/Knowledge Excellent organisational skills Professional telephone manner Ability to build excellent relationships with suppliers and clients Experience in an account’s role Preferably experience in dealing with aged debt Preferably 12 months plus in Legal Accounts Hours and Location An office-based role based in Hale, Altrincham, Cheshire. 5 days a week 9am to 5.30pm 1 hour for lunch This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate from a finance background who wants development and the chance to make a real difference.
