Our reinsurance industry client, with international operations, is seeking a (Re)Insurance Data Reporting Analyst to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of data submitted by MGAs and other partners through premium and claims bordereaux, cession statements, and other reports. This role involves data validation, identifying anomalies, ensuring adherence to contract terms, and preparing regular reports for management. The ideal candidate will have experience in reinsurance and insurance reporting, a strong understanding of bordereaux management systems, and the ability to independently address discrepancies or issues with client. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Data Validation & Compliance Review and validate incoming data (premium and claims bordereaux, cession statements, MGA reports) for accuracy and completeness. Ensure reported figures align with underwriting terms and contractual obligations. Identify and investigate data anomalies or inconsistencies. Reporting & Insights Compile validated data into clear, actionable reports for internal stakeholders. Highlight key metrics, trends, and discrepancies to management. Ensure reports are delivered on time and meet organizational standards. Client Liaison Collaborate with MGAs and other partners to resolve data-related queries or discrepancies. Act as a point of contact for data validation issues, addressing concerns promptly and professionally. System Utilization & Optimization Use bordereaux management systems (e.g., Distribind, VPR) to streamline data validation processes. Identify opportunities to enhance data management and validation workflows. Compliance Monitoring Monitor and ensure adherence to operational, regulatory, and contractual requirements. General Requirements 3 years in insurance or reinsurance reporting, data validation, or operations. Strong familiarity with bordereaux management systems such as Distribind or VPR is highly desirable. Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance contracts, premium and claims reporting, and bordereaux reconciliation. Experience working with Insurance operations and reinsurance business. Familiarity with data reporting practices for MGAs is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders. Independent, proactive, and capable of managing complex tasks with minimal supervision. Certifications such as ACII or equivalent are a plus but not mandatory.
