Job Duties:
As a KS3 SEN Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored support and assistance to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Developing and implementing individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
* Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to enhance students' academic progress and social development.
* Regularly assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Collaborating with other educational professionals, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Required Qualifications:
* Recognised qualification in Education or relevant field.
* Specialist training or experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Enhanced DBS check.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN practises and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in using assistive technology to support SEN students.
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a classroom or home learning environment. The role may involve some flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
