QA Technician – High-Performance Engineering | Motorsport Manufacturing
Location: Thetford
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
I’m currently working with a world-leading engineering and motorsport manufacturer, renowned for delivering cutting-edge, high-performance solutions across the automotive and racing sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business operating at the highest level of precision engineering, where innovation, quality, and speed drive everything they do.
They are looking for a QA Technician to join their dynamic team and play a vital role in maintaining the elite standards their name is built on. Key Responsibilities:
* Perform hands-on inspections of incoming parts and materials using metrology tools such as Verniers, Micrometers, and Faro Arms (CAD/CMM-based inspection).
* Confirm all parts meet required specifications, drawings, and internal standards.
* Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including the release, quarantine, or rejection of components.
* Collaborate with stores, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely part release and issue resolution.
* Support a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen methodologies.
What You’ll Need:
* Previous experience in a quality control role, ideally in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
* Competence with inspection tools and familiarity with CMM or CAD-based equipment (Faro Arm experience desirable).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* A team-focused approach with strong communication skills and flexibility to meet production demands.
