I am lucky enough to be working with a dynamic and innovative company specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions. Their mission is to help businesses streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency through cutting-edge automation technology.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced RPA Business Development Manager to drive sales and strategic partnerships in the fast-evolving field of automation. In this role, you will identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities while working closely with key stakeholders to deliver tailor-made RPA solutions to clients.
RPA Business Development Manager Specification:
1. Identify potential clients, industries, and partnerships that can benefit from RPA solutions.
2. Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers in target companies to understand their pain points and offer relevant automation solutions.
3. Develop a deep understanding of our RPA platform and services and use that knowledge to consultatively sell automation solutions tailored to client needs.
4. Create and implement business development strategies to penetrate new markets and grow market share.
5. Lead the preparation of compelling RPA proposals, RFP responses, and presentations.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, market shifts, competitor strategies, and new developments in RPA to drive sales.
7. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product, technical, marketing) to ensure successful client engagements and smooth implementations.
8. Meet or exceed sales targets, pipeline goals, and business development objectives.
9. Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client presentations.
10. 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally within RPA, automation, or technology solutions.
11. Existing relationships with decision-makers in target industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or logistics are highly desirable.
12. Understanding of RPA tools (such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and their business applications is a strong plus.
13. Demonstrated ability to consultatively sell technology-based solutions and manage the end-to-end sales cycle.
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
15. Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving results.
