Zest Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugeley. This full-time position offers a fulfilling opportunity to support students aged 5 to 19 with autism and associated learning difficulties on a long-term basis, starting immediately.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing 1:1 support to students with SEN and assisting in small group settings. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with teachers on lesson planning, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and championing the academic and social development of SEN students.
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience working with special educational needs students, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate patience and empathy in their approach. If you have a compassionate nature and a desire to help students thrive academically and socially, we want to hear from you.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEND students
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Possession of an up-to-date DBS check or willingness to obtain one
