Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring Teacher (with QTS) on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive primary school in central Southampton. The position is part-time, with the successful candidate working Thursdays and Fridays during the summer term of 2025.
As a Primary School Teacher, you will:
1. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
3. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
4. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Position - Primary School Teacher
Contract or position start date - After the Easter holidays.
Duration - Temporary- Summer term
Contract or position end date (if applicable) - End of academic year.
Full time/part-time - Part Time (Thursdays and Fridays)
Hours - Standard working hours 8.30am-3.30pm (times may vary).
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. ECTS and experienced teachers welcomed to apply.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
1. Hold right to work in the UK.
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
3. Provide references upon request.
4. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this).
