If you are a Legal PA and looking for your next role, we want to hear from you. Our client is a highly regarded award-winning law firm looking to add to their support team and introduce a new PA / Secretary. You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a legal secretary / legal PA role to be considered.
Responsibilities:
1. Work for all fee earners by picking up digital dictation and support in the office from Epsom.
2. Prepare correspondence and documents to include transcribing digital dictation.
3. Administer filing, including daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual.
4. Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
5. Arrange for all copying to be done.
6. Make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date diary for the fee earner(s).
7. If appropriate, prepare the conference room for meetings and tidy the room at the end of the meeting, providing refreshments if requested.
8. Provide support to other secretaries as required.
9. Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone, providing support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm's standards for client care.
Suitable candidates should demonstrate the following:
1. 2 years previous experience of working within a Legal Secretary / PA Role.
2. Advanced IT skills and good copy and audio typing.
3. High accuracy levels.
4. Professional communication with clients both on the phone and in person.
5. A proactive approach to work and clients.
6. A positive attitude.
