Admin Officer (AO) - Band E - Sunderland County Court
Brook Street is hiring an Admin Officer for Sunderland County Court.
As an Admin Officer, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the court. This role is crucial for managing both internal processes and public interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interact effectively with members of the public.
2. Open and dispatch mail.
3. Prepare and check documents and files.
4. Handle photocopying and filing.
5. Create and update records on the in-house computer system (data entry).
6. Undertake any additional administrative duties as reasonably requested by line management.
Essential Skills:
1. Proficient in fast and accurate data entry, with solid IT skills and a good knowledge of Word and Excel.
2. Ability to prioritize, plan, and work effectively towards targets.
3. Clear communicator, professional demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
4. Possess 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications.
Details:
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £11.59 per hour
Contract Duration: 6 month assignment until March 2025, possibility of extension but not guaranteed.
Location: Ideal for public transport.
