Brain Injury Support Worker (Flexible hours)
We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team in Sandbach, Cheshire. The successful applicant will need to have experience within complex care as well as hold a full UK driver's license and be happy driving a WAV. Alongside the day-to-day support our client will require, the support worker will be working with Occupational Therapists and SALT.

Job responsibilities

Alongside the day-to-day support our client will require, the support worker will be working with Occupational Therapists and SALT. As our client does have a family, we are looking for a support worker who enjoys working with the whole family and being an integral part of their lives.
Working Hours: This will start with adhoc shifts with a view to increase to regular shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engaging with personalised routines.
* Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
* Ability to deal with challenging behaviours.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client, and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
