Set at the foot of the Malvern Hills, our clubhouse provides efficient service as well as a relaxing atmosphere.
We are currently recruiting for a bar supervisor to help lead our friendly and dynamic team.
Working 20-32 hours per week, salary negotiable depending on experience, you will ensure that all customers are provided with exceptional customer service.
Job Duties
* Ensure the smooth day-to-day function of the bar, providing a welcoming greeting to all customers, ensuring a first-class service from start to finish.
* Interact with customers, take food and drink orders, providing recommendations.
* Act as deputy for the Bar and Events Manager, and take charge in running the bar and successful events when the Manager is absent.
* Work collaboratively with the Bar and Event Manager in managing bar operations.
* Aid in supervising the bar team, ensuring service expectations are adhered to at all times.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination between bar and kitchen operations.
* Attend to questions from customers in a friendly and professional manner.
* Facilitate payments by customers via POS or any other means of transaction obtainable.
* Assist Bar Manager in ordering bar stock.
* Cellar management.
* Educate staff on minimizing wastage where possible.
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar and clubhouse by following our strict hygiene and cleanliness procedures.
* Ensure strict compliance with relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.
* Assist with cash handling and accountability for bar floats, including reconciliation of takings.
* Ensure company rules and procedures including bar opening and closing procedures are followed.
* Assist with and maintain an efficient bar, stock control and rotation.
* Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
