Affinity Flying Services supports the UK military air capability by playing a key part in the seamless progression of pilots through flying training. Under a landmark partnering programme with the Ministry of Defence, we supply and maintain three fleets of aircraft to deliver Elementary and Multi-Engine Flying Training within the UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS). Through technical advancement and commercial innovation, we deliver safe, airworthy aircraft to match the training needs of the next generation on the frontline.
We are currently looking for an Aircraft Flight Line Mechanic to join our team at RAF Valley. This is an interesting role supporting the flight line operation including the safe departure, arrival and turnaround of aircraft including marshalling, towing, aircraft cleaning and other general duties.

Essential Qualifications
* Education to a minimum GCSE level.
* Ability to acquire UK security clearance.
* Full UK driving licence.
* At least 1 years’ experience of working within an aviation setting.
* Proficiency in use of common software packages including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power BI, Microsoft Project.
* Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of practical and theoretical standards within the aviation industry.
Desirable Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) from a technical background.
This is a full-time permanent position based on 40 hours a week. Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK, a full driving licence and their own transport. If you’re successful, you will be required to undertake MOD Security clearance which includes 3 years’ reference checks, and you’ll need to verify your right to work in the UK.
