As our industry continues to grow, so do we We are now looking for a Senior Marine Superintendent to help ensure compliance and risk mitigation. What will you do? As our new Senior Marine Superintendent, you will act as the focal point for regulatory requirements, vessel performance, and emergency preparedness. Furthermore, you will provide expert guidance on IMO, Flag State, and Class Society regulations, leading audits, supporting marine teams on and offshore, and developing/ maintaining management systems to uphold industry standards. Your main tasks include: Provide subject matter expertise in relation to maritime operations, including but not limited to safe navigation, dynamic positioning and emergency response. Provide advice to the organization on matters of compliance and upcoming changes to applicable regulations and industry guidance. Develop and maintain the companys management system and fleet/vessel specific documentation, related to marine operations and fleet emergency preparedness, in accordance with statutory requirements and industry guidelines. Assisting the vessels to implement and improve further the vessel specific documentation. Manage internal audits and inspections, advise, activate, close and followup finding with the Vessel Management Team, technical and operational managers; Provide support as required during external audits and inspections, including Flag State Administrations, Port State Control (PSC), clients and other third parties. Provide follow up and develop corrective/preventative action plans as necessary. Supporting the wider Marine Operations team, vessel crews, HSEQ and other relevant Business Units on marine/nautical matters and coordinating as required during project preparation and execution. Supporting relevant commercial and project teams in the evaluation of potential charter agreements, project requirements and asset inspections. We think you will be a good match if you: Master mariner and/or relevant training and experience in marine operations role Knowledge of relevant international maritime codes and requirements (i.e. ISM, MLC, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL) Relevant training and/or experience as an internal/lead auditor Experience of relevant offshore and/or marine operations such as DP and jacking (preferably including offshore wind) Experience of Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) preferred. Proficiency in computer software skills, including MS Office applications.
