Senior Procurement Consultant (Defence), Role Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership: Lead in developing and executing infrastructure procurement strategies that align with client objectives and project goals in the defence sector.
2. Supplier Relationships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery standards in defence infrastructure projects.
3. Innovation Drive: Champion innovation in procurement processes and technologies, driving continuous improvement and delivering measurable results in defence infrastructure projects.
4. Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with both public and private sector defence clients to understand their unique needs and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations in infrastructure procurement.
Senior Procurement Consultant, Person Specification:
1. Extensive experience in infrastructure / CAPEX procurement, with a track record of success in delivering projects in the defence industry.
2. Passion for procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on driving efficiency, cost savings, and value creation in defence infrastructure projects.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with defence clients and stakeholders.
4. Relevant qualifications in procurement or defence industry management are desirable.
5. HOLDING SECURITY CLEARANCE IS BENEFICIAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL, HOWEVER, CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO GAIN SECURITY CLEARANCE.
