Stephen James BMW is looking for a Parts Supervisor/Manager. Your role As the Parts Supervisor you will be overseeing the Parts Department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing a small team, and maintaining accurate records. You will assist your department in achieving the budget and BMW parts purchase target every month as well as adhering to all BMW / MINI UK contractual standards. The main duties of the role include. Assist in leading the daily operations of the Parts Trade Retail Teams, providing excellent customer service and support to both internal and external customers. Monitor, analyse, and report on department performance. Ensure effective stock control and warehouse management. Maintain and manage quarterly stock checks and provisions. Manage budget forecast accurately and control expenses. Manage supplier relationships and service levels. Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm or 7.30am-5.30pm, and Saturdays, 8am-2pm, on a rota basis (currently, 1 in 3) to be paid as additional hours. Your profile Excellent customer service and communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably.
