About The Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking for an exciting opportunity in London? Look no further! Here at the award winning, thriving Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery, we are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our incredible team as a Veterinary Receptionist.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, the friendly face they see when they walk through our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good old fuss! You'll assist them with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries and providing general support.
Your Day At Streatham Hill Could Include:
1. Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
2. Booking appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
3. Helping to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment
4. Booking in follow-up appointments for the pet once they have left their initial consultation
5. Helping the Vet and Nurse team with queries
6. Being responsible for paperwork being scanned onto pets' digital records
7. Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
8. Ordering food and medication
9. Taking payment immediately after treatment of the pet
10. Processing 0% finance applications for clients wanting to spread the cost of payment for larger operations
11. Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism - and don't forget about those emails coming through or those social media pages!
This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week, with a mix of shift patterns between 7:30am-8pm, and 1:4 weekends. You will also be required to work a share of bank holidays per year.
About You
Ideally you will have:
1. Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary industry
2. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
3. Strong organisational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
4. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
5. Proficiency in computer systems and software, with experience using RxWorks being a MASSIVE plus!
