Our client, a leader in advanced electronic components, requires a Head of Operations, who will provide leadership to continuous improvement and project activities.
The successful candidate will have a mix of experience in manufacturing engineering, process development, CI, and production, preferably in an electronics test and assembly environment.
The role requires:
* Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements across the operations.
* Identify areas for process improvement within the manufacturing workflow and supply chain.
* Use a wide toolbox of skills across CI and lean to identify projects that will yield improvements across all aspects of the operations.
* Identify and manage CAPEX projects in support of building a robust operations environment in a growing business.
* Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting operational achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
Applications are encouraged from operational leadership candidates who have a full appreciation of the end-to-end supply chain. It is essential that you understand electronics and small, complex assembly environments.
Candidates will be degree educated in a relevant field and be able to evidence continued professional development (CPD).
Your leadership experience will ideally have been applied successfully in an SME environment, where you have operated at a strategic level but adapted to tactical delivery when needed.
As well as an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management, candidates will bring proven experience in leading change successfully.
The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator, who is able to develop high-performing teams and implement processes for success.

Pay: £75,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
