The Resuscitation, Simulation & Skills Team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for professionals with passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence in education. The team delivers education in a broad range of disciplines to a wide variety of learners.
You will be supported to learn and teach Resuscitation, Simulation and Clinical Skills to learners from student to senior level both in the classroom and the clinical setting.

Main duties of the job
You will assist the Head of Resuscitation, Simulation & Skills in managing, developing and delivering a wide variety of courses to learners from all healthcare disciplines.
You will be expected to deliver regional and national courses in Resuscitation and management of the deteriorating patient, and support and assess learners capability in these. In addition you will be expected to design and deliver simulation and clinical skills teaching in line with local and national policy, and in response to clinical events, quality improvement projects and Trust wide audit. You will also be expected to support learners in the clinical setting and take part in collecting audit data and patient safety projects.
You will have excellent communication skills and provide expert advice to ensure the best evidence-based patient care. The ability to work on your own initiative, problem solve, prioritise your workload, manage projects and meet deadlines is essential.
You will either possess a resuscitation council approved (or ALSG approved) advanced life support (adult/ paediatric or both) qualification or have knowledge and experience in advanced life support practice and education. In addition, it is desirable that you have a recognised instructor's qualification in resuscitation or a degree/masters level module in teaching.

1. oExtensive clinical experience in an acute environment (A&E, ITU, CCU, Theatre, Paramedic)
