An exciting, full-time opportunity has arisen with the Neurosciences education team at the Leeds General Infirmary, where we care for patients with a wide range of departments including: Neurosurgery, Neurology, Spinal Surgery and Stroke services. The post holder will be expected to work across the Clinical Service Unit (CSU) with clinical colleagues to develop and embed good practice, provide innovative teaching and education, and embed evidence-based practice.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will act as a professional role model and support all clinical colleagues across Neurosciences. The post holder will provide up to date evidence-based practice and support colleagues from the start of their journey with us, throughout their career, this includes registered and unregistered practitioners.
The post holder will use their knowledge, skills and experience to plan, organise and deliver quality training and education on a range of subjects. The post holder will ensure the evaluation and audit of the education and training provided.

Job responsibilities
To support, educate and develop registered and unregistered staff in their clinical role in order to deliver high quality, evidence-based care to service users. The post holder will contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of education.
They will work in collaboration with the senior management team to maintain the vision and objectives of the Neurosciences units and ensure these are embedded in practice.
The post holder will lead by example and be responsible for disseminating good practice and actively challenge assumptions, practice and performance where appropriate.
