Can you create the headlines that matter for nature? Are you looking for a part-time role with flexible remote-working, where you can deliver high-impact media work for nature in partnership with leading charities? As the biggest environment and wildlife coalition in England we are looking for an experienced media professional who can give a strong joint voice for nature in the news and across social channels. This is a unique and exciting role. You will be playing a big part in a small organisation while also delivering invaluable collaborative work on behalf of our huge network of 80 member organisations. You will be working with household names like the RSPB and the National Trust through to experts on particular wildlife like Butterfly Conservation and Bat Conservation Trust. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for a story to turn vital policy and scientific thinking into an unmissable media narrative and eye-catching social content. You will be the lynchpin of our direct relationship with media, as well as being a generous matchmaker to raise the profile of our members. Media know-how, great writing, and excellent communication are more important than having worked in the sector before. So, if you are passionate about our natural world and have fantastic traditional and social media knowledge, skills, and experience, we want to hear from you. This is a part time role (2.5 or 3 days a week), salary pro-rata.
