Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with an engineering company who are looking for a Customer Operations Executive to join their friendly team.
As the Operations Executive, you will be the first point of contact for customers, processing customer orders within agreed SLA's. In this role, you will be liaising with the global teams to deliver a first-class customer experience. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and will deliver value to the existing customers and new business.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the lead point of contact for all customer queries, pro-actively manage and assist in resolving challenging requests
2. Work with the Global Operations Team to ensure orders are placed correctly and on time
3. Ensure timely response to customers' queries and issues
4. Providing customer quotes and following up on any queries
5. Process orders accurately into the CRM
6. Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure timely delivery of orders
7. Work with logistics providers to manage delivery and costs
8. Arranging and approving customer invoices and ensure all associated month-end responsibilities are completed
9. Working closely with account managers to understand customer requirements
10. Provide regular forecast updates taking responsibility to support the business
11. Help in other ad-hoc tasks as required to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Experience in Customer Service and sales support (essential)
2. Account Management Experience (advantageous)
3. Hands-on experience with SAP or similar CRM tool would be an advantage
Knowledge and Other Skills:
1. Build and maintain strong, trust-based customer relationships
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Customer service experience with a commitment to relationship building and delivering complete customer satisfaction
4. Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
5. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
