An exciting opportunity is available for up to two Post Doctoral Research Associates in Pure Mathematics, working in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics.
Duties include:
1. Developing and conducting an individual program of research.
2. Association with one of the departmental research groups and having a Faculty mentor.
3. Opportunities for lecturing at Masters level, assisting with student research projects, or delivering small-group teaching.
4. Planning and managing your own research and administration, with guidance if required.
5. Assisting in the preparation of proposals and applications to external bodies.
6. Communicating material of a technical nature and building internal and external contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a proven record of internationally outstanding research and a PhD (within the last three years or to soon be completed).
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
