Van Driver
Main Duties:
1. To deliver products to customers within a specific area in a safe and friendly manner.
2. Responsible for the care and upkeep of your designated vehicle.
3. To provide excellent customer service standards to every customer.
Key Skills:
1. The responsibility of preparing the vehicle by conducting operator maintenance, ensuring all products for a delivery are correct and that they have been loaded onto the vehicle correctly and safely.
2. Responsible for completing delivery notes, return sheets and collecting payments.
3. Execute any special requests from customers by picking up and delivering items as directed on the delivery note.
4. Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information.
5. Responsibility for the checking the run sheets, picked orders for your deliveries and routing.
6. To plan your route and requirements for the drop by studying the schedule and any requests by the customer that are on the delivery note.
7. Make customers aware of any stock shortages or problems with their delivery.
8. Responsible for returning all empty cases and gas bottles and that they are correctly stored in the empties yard and unloaded in the correct manner.
9. Ensure that correct health and safety procedures are adhered to.
10. To complete all required checks and ensure that check sheets are passed to the distribution manager.
11. The ability to help in the warehouse when required.
12. To look presentable in the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.
Knowledge and Experience:
1. Good team work skills.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Good customer service skills.
4. Good safety practices and driving habits.
5. Possess the correct driving license required for the vehicle.
Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shifts: 7.00am - 3.30pm
Salary: GBP26,520 per annum
Bonus: Up to GBP2,000 per annum, based on agreed KPI's
