Trust Security Manager
An opportunity for an experienced Manager in Healthcare Security and car parking to Join The Humber Health Partnership. We are seeking a dynamic, forward thinking individual who can demonstrate results, knowledge and experience from a healthcare or similar setting.
Responsible for the management of physical security across Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Managing an outsourced contract (circa £1.5m), a small in-house team of NHS staff.
The post holder will act as a subject matter expert on healthcare security and violence prevention and reduction.
This role is also responsible for parking and traffic management across the Trust.

• Act as the competent person for Healthcare Security Management matters including protection of assets, prevention and reduction of violence against NHS staff in line with all national legislation and guidance.
• Creating a pro-security culture within the Trust so that staff and patients accept responsibility for this issue and ensure that when incidents occur that theyare detected and reported in a timely and accuratemanner.
• Oversee the investigation of security incidents in a fair, objective and professional manner so that appropriate sanctions and / or preventative actions can be applied. Assist patients/clients during incidental contact.
• Able to act as a source of expert advice to the Trust’s Directors regarding security matters (including acting as Police liaison between the Trust and the Police).
• Responsible for formulation, development and implementation of the Trust’s Security Policies.
• To develop the Trust security strategy and policy, including the systems procurement.
• Manage and maintain a balanced income and expenditure for security and parking budget.
