Finance Manager, ROW Central Programs
The Finance Manager will be a finance partner to RoW Central Programs Leadership supporting key business decisions while driving cost improvement programs. This includes responsibility for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have demonstrated ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Build financial analysis models driving operational decisions across the Amazon network.
2. Work on cost-out initiatives.
3. Work on long-term plans, annual budgets, etc.
4. Automate existing models and tools to contribute to the scale-up of Amazon's supply chain network.
5. Operations planning and cost planning for the Network.
6. Evaluate and improve methodologies that are the core of our business models and tools.
7. Collaborate with operations personnel to drive process, productivity improvements, and cost savings initiatives.
8. Manage the Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly results reporting.
9. Facilitate financial review meetings with key partner business groups.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
2. 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience.
3. 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
4. 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
5. 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
6. 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
7. 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
8. Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.
2. 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience.
3. MBA or CPA.
4. Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
5. Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
6. Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
