Role Summary
We're looking for a high-energy creative strategist to drive the development of scroll-stopping, sales-focused content for paid media. This role is about big ideas, quick execution, and commercial instinct being able to turn insights into creative that sells.
You'll be responsible for shaping DROOL's paid content strategy, ensuring everything from ad scripts to video and still assets is optimised for high performance across Meta and TikTok Ads.
What We're Looking For
* A creative machine who can fire off multiple ad ideas in a session and loves experimenting with new formats
* A commercial thinker who understands what makes people stop, engage, and buy our products
* Strong intuition for performance—you don't need to be deep in spreadsheets, but you know when an ad is working and why
* Experience with Meta and TikTok Ads—understanding the nuances of what performs on each platform. Experience in other channels such as Pinterest, Google is a plus
* Comfort in fast-paced, iterative environments—this role is about speed, creativity, and testing
* Scrappy and reactive—not afraid to grab an iPhone and shoot content ideas when needed, testing raw, fast-executed concepts to see what works
* Deep research mindset—spending time in ad libraries and social platforms, analyzing best-in-class content to build a large reference bank for ideation
What You'll Be Doing
* Own and execute a performance-driven content strategy. Ensuring creatives are built for conversions
* Lead ideation and creative direction. Consistently generating fresh ad concepts that align with what's working in paid media
* Test, learn, and iterate. Quickly adapting creative based on performance trends
* Run creative sprints—rapidly producing new ideas and working with editors to bring them to life
* Collaborate with performance marketers to refine content based on what's driving sales
* Benchmark against competitors and apply learnings to outpace the market
* Spend time immersing yourself in ad libraries, TikTok trends, and social platforms to find top-performing content that can inspire future ads
What You Won't Be Doing
* Running deep data analysis—you'll be working with data-focused members of the DROOL team, leaving you to turn these insights into ads
Requirements
* Experience with Meta & TikTok Ads - Knows what performs and how to optimise creatives for each platform
* 2+ years in performance-driven creative roles (DTC brands, media agencies, or paid social teams)
* Commercially minded - Every idea is focused on performance and conversions, not just aesthetics
* Strong intuition for performance - Can interpret ad data and adjust creative accordingly (without deep analysis)
* Basic editing knowledge (CapCut, Premiere, or Figma) to work with editors efficiently.
