The Role: The Consultant Support Analyst will provide project management support to our clients and Consulting project teams across all domains, support active engagements and client accounts, and help to develop new business. As well as having excellent analytical skills, this role requires someone who is a quick learner, curious, ambitious, innovative, and hard working. They will be part of a team supporting transformational change programmes for our clients and also have the opportunity to play a part in the development of the Programme Delivery strategy as a core area of Altus Consulting over the next few years and support active engagements and client accounts.
Responsibilities:
* Support Client Engagements:
o Support consultancy engagements for Altus’s FS customers, providing project support, analysis and Project Management Office activities
o Work as part of a team or independently engaging with clients
o Deploy methodology in keeping with Altus standards that support role. i.e data configuration, testing
o Ensure your time is managed in line with the assignment deliverables (utilisation expectation is between 50 and 75%).
o Support post-project analysis, identify learnings and areas of continuous improvement
* Delivery:
o Provide Project Support and Programme Management Office services for internal and external engagements to include:
o Notes, minute and action taking in Workshops/meetings
o Project Plan and Runbook monitoring, updates and provide support to Lead engagement consultant on Assignment deliverables
o Update, review and support changes to project reporting
* Innovation and Development:
o Support Programme Delivery Consultants to embed and improve the Altus APEX Delivery Framework
o Support changes to artefacts and methodology
o Work as part of the team to develop and continuously improve the APEX Delivery Framework
o Contribute to the development of Programme Delivery strategy, proposition and service offerings
* Business Development:
o Be an ambassador for Altus and the APEX Framework
o As the face of Altus, be professional in front of clients, upholding Altus values at all times
o Support marketing activities and events to help showcase the APEX Delivery Services
o Support the writing of Altus Thought Leadership Blogs and White Papers by helping the authors through providing any required supporting research
o Grow relationships across the Analyst wider consulting cohort to share knowledge and methodology
* Relationship Building and Networking:
o Attend and assist in the running of Altus Consulting Networking Events when required
o Develop the Altus Associate network:
+ Identify, and refer potential associates to our network
+ Contribute to and maintain the associate register
Experience and Skills:
* 1-2 years experience in the Financial Services industry
* Experience at entry Analyst level ideally in the operational, data, test, PMO, or research areas
* Strong desire to learn about change delivery methodology and practice
* Extremely thorough, inquisitive and hard-working behaviours
* Excellent people and communication skills, able to confidently converse with clients and peers
* Proven track record of building strong business relationships
* Innovative and with a strong ability to articulate ideas, bringing them to life visually and presenting them to peers
* Basic understanding of IT fundamentals and a desire to learn about different categories of FS systems
* Genuine passion and enthusiasm to make a difference for Altus, and to grow and to embrace change for the benefit of our clients
* A willingness to travel and undertake varying roles
