Job Title: Stores Supervisor
Location: Prestwick
Salary: £Competitive
Shift Pattern & Working Hours: 5, 5, 4 shift pattern working hours between 07:00 and 19:00.

Summary of duties - Stores Supervisor:
As an experienced Stores Supervisor you will be responsible for:
1. Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing parts to ensure conformity with quality standards and work with quality control for any necessary inspections.
2. Supervise, train, and support the stores team, ensuring performance, productivity, and professional development.
3. Maintain stock levels through effective ordering, tracking, and record-keeping; oversee stock checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
4. Ensure all handling and storage of parts comply with regulatory standards (EASA, FAA) and company policies.
5. Manage timely distribution and dispatch of parts to maintenance teams, ensuring minimal downtime.
6. Maintain orderly storage solutions and proper labelling of inventory to allow for easy tracking and retrieval of items.
7. Utilise ERP and inventory management systems to track parts, process orders, and manage stock effectively.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline inventory and distribution operations.
9. Manage tooling calibration requirements in accordance with periodic maintenance cycle.
10. Liaise with Safety and Compliance to ensure compliance with procedures and audits. Initiate procedure change in consultation with Logistics Manager and safety and compliance department.
11. Any other function as deemed necessary and suitable by the Line station manager and Logistics Manager.
Requirements for the role:
In order to be successful in the role of Stores Supervisor you will need to demonstrate the following skills:
1. 3-years working in an aircraft maintenance or airline environment; or
2. 5-years working in a Stores environment.
3. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team effectively.
4. Strong knowledge of Aviation standards in an airline maintenance environment.
5. Understanding of the application of Stores working practices and requirements.
6. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to work.
7. High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
