Our client is seeking an OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR (EVENTS & MARKETING) to join their team on a temporary on-going basis. This role could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. You will be conscientious, driven, hardworking, and ambitious. Working within a small team, you will be responsible for the operations, events, and marketing administration. This is a diverse role which will mainly be office-based; however, you must be prepared to cover events at weekends and evenings as and when required. You must be organised and efficient.
Typical duties include:
* Act as first point of contact for queries regarding operations, events, and marketing, providing accurate responses and first-class customer service.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and events.
* Chase contractors and other personnel as required.
* Manage marketing materials inventory and order supplies as needed.
* Maintain and update customer databases.
* Monitor social media platforms and assist with content creation.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and other operations/marketing-related documents.
* Prepare health & safety documentation (risk assessments, etc.).
* Attend events, get involved, and capture content for both social media and website.
* Ability to enhance & edit images when required (WordPress).
Within your CV, you must show evidence of the following skills:
* Experience of working in a fast-paced events administration environment, including use of online platforms.
* Excellent written communication and customer service skills, including experience overseeing front-of-house at conferences/events.
* Attentive to detail and personable.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with the use of WordPress, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Must hold:
* Passport or Birth certificate with National Insurance Number proof.
* UK Driving licence and own transport (to attend events as required).
