Responsibilities
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create engaging and accessible learning materials to support student learning
* Assess students' abilities and develop personalised learning plans
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure holistic support for students
Minimum Requirements
* A relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with SEN students
* Knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
* Organisational skills to manage student progress and learning materials
* Additional training in SEN education
* Experience in working within a school setting
This role involves working with students in an educational setting, with regular hours and potential for additional support and training.
