We are looking for a Veterinary Care Assistant with a positive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a love of pets and people. Confident and with a naturally caring disposition, you will fit seamlessly alongside our friendly practice teams as you help to provide a quality experience for pet owners and pets alike.
The Veterinary Care Assistant role is important in providing support to our Veterinary Surgeons and Nursing team, working collaboratively to provide outstanding care to our patients. This role will involve animal handling and restraint, inpatient care, general cleaning and maintenance, reception cover, and peri-operative support for our surgical patients.
About the rota and salary
A full-time position of 37.5 hours per week (including a share of Saturdays - with time given back in lieu). The shift pattern will be between practice opening times of Mon-Fri 8:30am-7:00pm and Saturdays, so flexibility will be required. There will be some requirement for some front of house work also.
The salary will be up to £22,385 per annum.
