Occupational Therapist £30-£35 Hybrid Working Wigan MBC are currently looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist to join their Early Intervention Integrated service, including Reablement, Equipment and Adaptations and Assistive Technology, you will work with service users who are experiencing difficulties with their ability to complete activities of daily living and experiencing reduced levels of independence. The service responds to both children and adults who require assessment and intervention to support optimum health and wellbeing within the home environment and the community. Key responsibilities of this role include: Assess for suitability for reablement programmes and write the programmes as appropriate. Assess and recommend equipment and adaptations and Assistive Technology solutions. Maintain accurate, comprehensive and contemporaneous documentation, in line with legal and service requirements. Undertake peer clinical Supervision groups of unqualified staff under the guidance of the manager. Provide assessment, treatment and management of babies, children, adolescents and adults who present diverse and complex physical, developmental and learning needs. Be aware of legislation and policies affecting Occupational Therapy in adults and children’s services practice. Why work with We do Social Work?
