Duties:
* Successful management of safeguarding service processes and delivering correct support and guidance as required.
* Lead provision of targeted interventions and pastoral support for learners with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
* Lead and manage the processes and record keeping associated with Looked After Young People and Care Leavers
* Oversee the inclusion of Care Experienced students and manage their support and development
Skills/Experience:
* Effective knowledge of Safeguarding processes and procedures
* Significant experience of supporting children and vulnerable adults, particularly those identified within the CLA and Care Leaver categories
* Significant experience of working with external agencies, including both statutory and voluntary.
Qualifications:
* Psychology/education qualification and or experience within the safeguarding/wellbeing arena.
* Mental Health Qualification
* Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent
