EYFS Teacher Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and independence. Use observations and assessments to track children’s progress and tailor learning experiences accordingly. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports children's social and emotional well-being. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality EYFS provision across the school. Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on children’s progress. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide events. EYFS Teacher Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Early Years, particularly in Nursery or Reception. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning needs. A team-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to the wider school community. Commitment to continuous professional development in Early Years education.
