The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct leadership and support to their relevant clinical areas and specialist nursing teams. Specialist Medicine is a large business unitmade up of several different specialities including Respiratory medicine, Cardiology, Haematology, Oncology, Renal Medicine, Palliative Care, the Transfusion Service and the Medically Fit for Discharge Ward. You should be a registered nurse with senior leadership experience who is passionate about high quality patient care. You should have experience of clinical governance frameworks and service improvement projects. You will be expected to be based at Bradford Royal Infirmary but may be asked to work from other clinical sites. You will be expected to work autonomously as a senior nurse as part of the Specialist Medicine Clinical Services Unit alongside fellow Matrons and reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Nursing.
