Carlisle Fuels is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Administrator to work in their Ballynahinch Head office.
Position: Sales Administrator
Location: Ballynahinch
Hours: 25-30 hours per week, to include alternative Saturday morning.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities
* Responsible for taking orders on a daily basis, processing orders, and dealing with all customer queries.
* Manage and maintain the existing customer base and generate new business.
* Handle all pricing and track all competitors' pricing.
* Provide administration support and liaise with Fuel drivers on deliveries and operation of the in-house system, Dreamtec.
* Ensure all stock is allocated and all correct and in order at month end.
* Answer phones efficiently and in a professional manner.
* Provide customers with necessary information on pricing/products.
* Make proactive calls to potential customers and meet proactive targets where necessary.
* Oversee all payments from customers where necessary and liaise with the credit control department regarding customer balances and payment terms.
* Advise standing order customers on credit and payment terms and assist them with their savings plan via the company website.
* Liaise with Management on any complaints/issues where necessary.
* Assist in meeting personal targets/sales within the Sales team.
* Ensure all month-end reports are completed and finalized.
* Oversee fuel stock invoices.
* Assist our Senior Administrator with taxing/PSV of vehicles.
* Liaise at month end with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth close-off.
* Ensure prompt payments from customers upon ordering and follow up on debtors where necessary.
* Liaise with Finance and staff to ensure debtors are followed up and paid.
* Undertake other duties and responsibilities as directed.
General

* Undertake any training relevant to the position.
* Take responsibility for personal professional development and liaise regularly with the Fuel Manager to ensure an efficient role at all times.
* Undertake necessary Health and Safety responsibilities and duties as required.
* Work additional hours as required by the needs of the business.
* Attend sales meetings and cooperate with the Fuel Manager.
* Follow and maintain systems as outlined by Management.
