The Teesside CAMHS Neurodevelopment team are seeking to recruit a new enthusiastic and experienced professional as a member of the leadership team in the Neurodevelopment Assessment Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high standard of clinical leadership to the team as well as the multi-agency team. The post holder will ensure clinical standards are maintained in the delivery of care across all aspects of the service. The post holder will need excellent communication skills to lead and deliver on ongoing service development. Communicate with other stakeholders and share joint decision making. The post holder will also provide supervision and leadership to the wider Teesside Neurodevelopment team.
The model was devised on having the skilled clinical leadership at the front end of the pathway. The post holder along with the multi-agency panel will assess for Neurodevelopment conditions and support a child and family through a needs-led approach and identify individual support for the family and younger person. The post holder will need to be skilled in both ASD, ADHD, and attachment to offer differential diagnosis screening and possible assessment in relation to ASD/ ADHD and attachment.
Main duties of the job
To apply for this role you will have experience in children's mental health services and work in the community. You will also have a detailed understanding of Safeguarding and Clinical Risk Assessment and Management and its application in practice. The ability to make balanced decisions and use positive risk-taking approaches, whilst managing potentially high-pressure situations is an essential part of this role. Providing specialist knowledge and support to the team and wider multi-agency colleagues is also integral. We are passionate about the delivery of high-quality services that promote and improve the wellbeing of children and young people. A main duty of the role will be to provide support, guidance, and training in our local education settings.

Qualifications
Essential
* Current Professional Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council - RMN / RNLD/ RGN (RNSC - CAMHS Only)
* Recognised Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor or currently in progress of achieving
* Trained in Clinical Supervision and providing Clinical Supervision or in the process of achieving
* Postgraduate diploma in a subject relevant to the area Or be willing to work towards and achieve within 2 years
* Within the first year of being in post hold a recognised qualification in a governed therapy/advanced clinical qualification e.g Intermediate Systemic Family Therapy/Post Grad diploma in CBT/British Isles Dialectical Behaviour Therapy /NMP (Independent Prescriber)
* And have Equivalent clinical experience to that of a Post Grad Diploma/master's level such as working as a band 6 (or above) in relevant clinical area with significant experience (see below under experience), together with evidence of relevant CPD
