We are currently partnering with an international leading manufacturing company based in Manchester for the appointment of an accounts payable clerk on a 12-month fixed contract.
The business operates in over 10 countries and across 2 continents with more than 10,000 people worldwide. Reporting to the AP Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team working in a busy finance shared service centre.
Responsibilities:
* Process AP transactions and manage queries with 3rd parties and internal customers
* Deal promptly with queries from suppliers and operations
* Scan invoices onto the system and monitor accuracy
* Perform supplier statement reconciliations on identified key accounts
* Ensure VAT and nominal coding is correct on all processed transactions
* Support the team's continuous improvement projects
* Identify any potential problems and proactively provide solutions
YOU:
* Experience working in a fast-paced finance function
* Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
* Excellent communication and Excel skills
* Salary up to £26k
