The position is being offered by a grand Indian Restaurant in Dumfries, famous for serving made to order food with fresh ingredients. The role involves skilful preparation of complex South Asian Tandoori and Grill meats, breads and specialities specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff. To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements:
* Eligibility to live and work in UK
* Experience in the preparation of authentic Tandoori & Grill dishes & specialties
* Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
* Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
* Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
* Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour. In addition, you should have the following attributes:
