The Role: As a Paint Technician, you’ll be responsible for preparing and painting a wide range of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models. Your role will include:
4. Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask vehicle surfaces in preparation for painting.
5. Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to match vehicle colours and apply using spray guns and equipment.
6. Spray Booth Management: Oversee the efficient running of the spray booth to ensure high-quality results.
7. Quality Control: Ensure all paint jobs meet customer specifications and industry standards.
8. Collaboration: Work with the team to meet deadlines and achieve outstanding results.
9. Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised work environment and follow all health and safety guidelines.
About You: We’re looking for an experienced and fully qualified Paint Technician who has:
10. Proven Experience: Extensive background in vehicle paint repair, preferably within accident repair.
11. Vehicle Expertise: Experience working with a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
12. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
13. Attention to Detail: Commitment to precision and quality in every job.
14. Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
15. Qualifications: Ideally, you’ll hold a Senior ATA Paint qualification, and we will support you in renewing or achieving it.
